flourish
the neuroscience of yoga, breath and meditation
We are more distracted, more stressed and more lonely than perhaps any previous generation. And yet the tools to meet these challenges have existed for thousands of years - the ancient practices of yoga, breathwork and meditation remind us what we have forgotten: how to live rich and fulfilling lives.
Neuroscience is now uncovering why these practices work. Flourish brings this research into the room - as theory and as lived experience. Your people leave understanding why these practices work - and with practical tools they can use from that day forward.
Sophia brings a rare combination of scientific rigour and embodied practice to every session. A former Shell strategist, she holds a First Class MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester and is currently completing her second MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at King's College London. She is a qualified yoga teacher (RYT 200hr) with sixteen years of personal practice and teaches across studios in Sydney.
